Who We Are

SomerHill Kids Education Services is a non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in the Central Region, specifically in rural Luwero District, Uganda.

We are a passionate team of educators, social workers, and community advocates dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to quality education.

We go beyond traditional schooling by integrating community empowerment programs that support and uplift rural women—recognizing that an educated, empowered mother transforms an entire generation.

We firmly believe that educating a child works best when we also uplift the family—which is why women's empowerment and community resilience remain at the heart of our operating model.

What We Do

Our initiatives are specifically designed to deliver holistic support to children and their families:

Child Education & Support: We provide access to formal education, scholastic materials, and mentorship programs for vulnerable and orphaned children.

Women's Empowerment: We run vocational training, financial literacy, and livelihood programs to help mothers and female caregivers achieve economic independence.

Community Capacity Building: We work alongside local grassroots networks to promote health, hygiene, and sustainable community grow
