Welcome to Somerhill Kids Education Services. I am proud to share our story with you. We started this organization with a simple belief: every child deserves a bright future.

In rural Luweero District, poverty makes it hard for children to learn and for families to thrive. That is why we do more than teach in a classroom. We empower parents with farming skills and savings groups. When the community grows stronger, our children learn better.

Volunteer With Us

Do you want to share your time and skills? We welcome volunteers to join our team in Luweero District. You can make a real difference in rural Uganda.

How you can help:

·         Teaching: Assist our teachers at the Kamira School with basic subjects or creative arts for children aged 4-12.

·         Farming: Help community members learn new, sustainable substance farming techniques.

·         Mentorship: Teach business and savings skills to local women and youth.

How Donors Can Help

Your support keeps our doors open and our programs running. Every donation goes directly to helping children learn and families grow.

·         Sponsor a Student: Fund school supplies, uniforms, and meals for one child aged 4-12.

·         School Supplies: Donate books, pencils, and classroom materials.

Somerhill Kids Education Services is a registered Non-profit Community Based Organization (CBO) dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities in Luweero District. The organization operates a community school in Kamira alongside holistic programs, working to empower children, women, and marginalized populations.

As a school, we provide a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and personal development. As a charity organization, we extend our reach beyond the classroom, empowering disadvantaged children and communities through various initiatives and programs.
