Somerhill Kids Education Services is a community-based organization located in Kigulu East Ward, Wobulenzi Town Council, Luwero District. We believe every child deserves a safe environment, a strong education, and a hopeful future. Because poverty in rural Uganda makes it hard for families to thrive, our work goes beyond the classroom. We uplift entire households by combining child-focused care with economic tools so parents and guardians can support their families independently.

 

Our Programs:

• Economic Development: We empower local families and parents with practical farming skills, financial literacy, and community savings groups to build household stability.

 

• Child Rescue Program: We intervene quickly to protect vulnerable children from danger, neglect, or severe hardship, placing them in safe environments.

 

 

• End Poverty Now: We run targeted community relief initiatives and resource distributions to ease immediate financial stress in vulnerable households.

 

• Community Charity: We organize outreach programs to provide basic needs, scholastic materials, and food supplies to disadvantaged families.

 

 

• Child Advocacy: We defend the rights of children, ensuring they are protected, heard, and given equal opportunities to learn and grow.
